This made me cry.

This is so stark and bleak, yet there's hope here, even if it's just transitory, because there's a real human connection between real people. You never told us what either of them did, but we don't need to know. That's not the story. The story's about caring when you're not supposed to, about making another life bearable at the cost of your own heart.

This is a story that's going to stay with me.
